Trojans Going Back to State 02.24.2012 One pin was the
difference between a return trip to state and going home for
the season for the Troy boys bowling team Friday at the
Division I district bowling tournament Eastern Lanes in
Middletown. Fortunately, that one pin was on the side of the
Trojans as the Troy boys bowling team grabbed the last of
four available spots and earned the opportunity to defend
last season's state championship. Troy joins Beavercreek,
Fairmont, and Kenton Ridge in advancing to next week's state
championship.

Boys Capture GWOC Crown 02.13.2012 The Troy boys
bowling team accomplished something Sunday at Poelking South
Lanes that eluded it last year even in the midst of a state
championship season - a Greater Western Ohio Conference
championship.

Trojans Sweep Wave 01.26.2012 Scores at Treaty Lanes
were low on Wednesday. But the only thing that
mattered was that Troy's scores were higher than
Greenville's. The Trojans swept the Green Wave - the
boys winning by a 2,301-2,055 count and the girls by a
1,887-1,498 margin - to remain unblemished in the North
Division of the Greater Western Ohio Conference at 7-0.

Trojans Set a New Record 01.20.2012 TROY - On a day
when the top two boys teams in the Greater Western Ohio
Conference North Division clashed for supremacy, it was the
girls that stole the show. The Trojan girls struck early and
often on their way to a team record match total of 2,519 -
besting Vandalia-Butler by 525 pins. Meanwhile, the
anticipated shootout with the Butler boys never materialized
as Troy coasted to a 2,640-2,221 win that put Troy in the
GWOC North driver seat at 5-0.

Troy Tops Piqua 01.18.2012 PIQUA - During a long
season, there's bound to be an off-night. Such was the case
for the Troy boys bowling team at Brel-Aire Lanes on
Tuesday, but the Trojans still scored plenty enough to win
ugly over Piqua by a 2,300-1,987 count. On the other hand,
the Trojan girls were able to solve the lane conditions and
steadily pull away from the Indians to post a 2,184-1,912
win.

Trojans Split with Westerville Central 01.06.2012 The
Troy bowling teams split with Westerville Central on
Thursday at Troy Bowl. The boys won going away with a
2,829-2,398 victory, while the girls dropped a close
2,181-2,129 decision.

Trojans Sweep Vikings 01.04.2012 The Troy bowling teams
pulled away from Miamisburg to claim a sweep in Greater
Western Ohio Conference play at Poelking South Lanes on
Tuesday.

Trojans set Record at 1st Match at New Home 12.16.2011
The single team game record. The two-game team series
record. The total match record. Even a run at tying the
individual game record with what would have been the
program's seventh 300 game. The reigning state champion Troy
boys' debut in their new home couldn't have gone better.

12.14.2011 The Troy bowling teams started out the
regular season on a positive note by sweeping Fairborn and
Springfield in a Greater Western Ohio Conference tri-match
on Monday at Bowl 10 Lanes in Fairborn.

Boys Win Title
12.05.2011 The Troy boys bowling team began the season
Saturday exactly as they started last season's run to the
state title. The Trojans bested Zane Trace 3-1 in the finals
to claim the Ohio High School Kickoff championship for the
second straight year at the Columbus Bowling Palace. Billed
as the largest all varsity high school tournament in the
nation, Troy finished on top of a deep and talented 33 team
field.
